Blood & Besiegement by Jeremy Dwyer
In the world of magical oceans and burning suns, hidden horrors have been revealed.

A song that called a star for guidance has brought that star down from the sky. It is a prince of the suns, and he sets fire to the world while searching for the girl whose voice called to him.

A witch, having the magic of blood and fire, attacks a wealthy nation to assassinate its noblest warrior. He is the only one righteous enough to wield the sword that can stop the prince of the suns.

A temple of many towers, serving as a stronghold of evil, has been hidden in the darkness. Now, it has been revealed by another song. Powerful attacks against the temple have completely failed.

An arrogant spirit warrior, who mysteriously has the power of two of the magic oceans, can defeat anyone in battle, or possess them for their combat skills. Rather than conquer the world for himself, he is forming alliances and building armies and navies across multiple continents, to fight a rising evil he insists is far too great to ignore. Yet, he is no hero.

A deadly woman with violet eyes tells demonic lies to win over the trust of a young woman, whose enchanting, musical voice can move the suns and reveal hidden secrets. If the girl can be deceived, the power of her music can help restore an ancient empire that plans to murder the world.

Several Chroniclers - ancient scribes who record the world's events - witness these and other dangers, even gaining foreknowledge of disasters. Yet, they are forbidden by an Oath from interfering to help anyone.
