Katherine's Marriage by D.E. Stevenson
Readers who discovered Katherine Wentworth and Alec MacLaren in Katherine Wentworth will be delighted to learn more about this lively pair. Those who are meeting them for the first time will find that this romantic story stands independently and beautifully on its own.

The story opens with the honeymoon of Katherine and Alec at Ardfalloch in the idyllic Scottish Highlands. From there, the plot moves swiftly to Edinburgh and then to Limbourne, the Wentworth's ancestral mansion in the south of England, where surprising, dramatic events take place.

The characters, as in all of Miss Stevenson's novels, are clearly defined, beautifully rendered, and delightful. Denis, Daisy, Simon, and the entire Wentworth clan will already be familiar to Miss Stevenson's readers, and for The Marriage of Katherine she has produced a wonderful new group of appealing Scotsmen. As one reviewer stated, "Miss Stevenson's characters are the sort of people one knows or would like to know."
