Good Harvest: A Monster Romance

A hungry forest god... a young woman offered as a gift... a connection neither of them predicted.

The Harvest. It was a big event that saved the planet from drought and desolation.

I don't know the details, I'm no historian.

The only reason it's important is because my mother's new job is located smack dab where it happened.

We're moving. Bye bye sunny west coast with all my friends, hello tiny village in Massachusetts with no internet.

There's nothing out here but fields and plants. So many plants.

I catch them moving from the corner of my eye. I tell myself it's animals, or my imagination...

Until the vines slip inside my bedroom window.

They're soft, and strong, and entirely alien.

There's something dark and twisted going on in this place--an ancient secret involving a magical contract... and me. I need answers about what I am.

The monster that's hunting me has those answers.

And when he catches me in his leafy grip, he'll give them to me.
