The Shadow Pack is a supposed to be a myth—but it’s not.

I should know. After all, I used to be one of them until a quirk of Fate had me turning my back on them when it became clear that I was just too different from my fellow packmates.

So what if I was the only shifter with white hair? At least I matched my wolf. When anyone wondered why I didn’t have the tell-tale purple eyes of our kind, I shrugged and said it was glamour. But then the glowing runes appeared on my skin… even my relationship to the pack’s Alpha couldn’t keep the rumors from swirling.

And that’s when my uncle dropped the bomb: unlike the witch-shifter hybrids that make up the Shadow Pack, I don’t have any witchblood in me.

I’m part celestial—one of the cursed Nephilim—and the biggest threat to my pack.

So I left. Thanks to a new friend, I got a crash course in what it was like to be part of the celestial race, and then I used my aura to hide out in a Bumptown where I’m just another Para on her own.

Until one of my old packmates comes bearing bad news… and the shock of my life. Because Drew? My best friend has changed in the months since I’ve been gone. He’s become dark, the shadows taking hold, and he’s not the only one. All of Arcadia has been cursed.
