When Everett's wife, Renee, leaves their life behind, he's stuck trying to pick up the pieces of his broken marriage. He knows he has to get himself back out there, but it feels impossible for someone like him—an anxious, germaphobic mess. Determined to figure out how to navigate life with his dearly departed wife, Everett goes on a journey of self-discovery. But with Renee appearing at the most inconvenient and intimate times, Everett is certain he’ll be stuck in purgatory alongside his wife forever.
