Doom Patrol: Sliding in the Wreckage by Rachel Pollack, Linda M. Medley, Richard Case, Scot Eaton
From Doom Patrol #66-74. Richard Case illustrates a transitional story bringing back Cliff Steele and establishing the relationship between Rebis and Coagula, a transgendered lesbian with the power over blood coagulation who received her power after prostituting herself to Rebis. With one randy exception illustrated by Scot Eaton, the rest of the run is illustrated by Linda Medley. It is heavily focused on the Doom Patrol setting up a new headquarters which is haunted by the ghosts of BDSM yuppie bandage people, including George and Marion, who join the team, which is led by the Head, who used to be the Chief until he ripped his head off the artificial body given to him by Dr. Will Magnus, creator of the Metal Men, after he was decapitated by the Candlemaker. Dorothy Spinner seems to be regressing mentally, even though her power seems to be tied to her menstrual period, and she becomes attached to a doll she finds on the property called Inner Child, which disturbs Cliff, who soon discovers bootlegs of himself being made after the destruction of his human brain (again by the Candlemaker) has made him entirely a robot with Cliff Steele's memories.

Followed by The Children's Crusade crossover and The Tiresias Wars.
