Ella Daniels, a professor of American history, comes from a family with many talents, and seeing ghosts is one of them.
While out walking on the state park trails, Ella, her sister, and her sister’s son visit the old prison camp that closed in the 1930s and they spot the ghost of a prisoner watching them from a field. Later, when Ella’s sister takes a photo of her son, they see the ghost of a woman standing behind the young boy in the picture, and soon they are drawn into a cold case.
With the help of her boyfriend, her brother, her sister, and a black cat named Raisin, will Ella be able to find the answers to the case before the killer decides to strike again?
